A Celebration of Sisterhood & Service

The Angels of Charity Annual Mass & Luncheon is a time to celebrate and recognize the incredible impact the Angels make in the community through service and philanthropy. Enjoy a beautiful morning of prayer, fellowship, and words of inspiration while supporting the mission and work of Catholic Charities Dallas. All are welcome to attend, regardless of membership status.

Mater Maria

One of CCD’s newest programs, Mater Maria offers housing and case management to pregnant women who find themselves unhoused without any means of support. Rooted in Catholic tradition, Mater Maria welcomes expectant mothers regardless of their marital or socioeconomic status, race, or religion.

All proceeds from the Annual Mass & Luncheon will support the incredible work of Mater Maria.

Allenna Bangs

Guest Speaker

Assistant Criminal District Attorney Allenna Bangs is a Deputy Criminal Division Chief with the Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney’s Office. She is the former Chief of the Intimate Partner
Violence team where she served for four years. She has been an Assistant Criminal District Attorney with Tarrant County since 2008. She has prosecuted cases from misdemeanors to Aggravated Sexual Assaults and Capital Murders. She was a member of the Gang Unit and successfully prosecuted multiple members of the Aryan Brotherhood of Texas and the Bandidos Outlaw Motorcycle Gang. Since 2016, she has been active in various ways in the avid prosecution of offenders of Crimes Against Women. In 2024, she was awarded the Chris Marshall Award by the TDCAA for excellence in training statewide in Prosecution. In 2025, she was named Prosecutor of the Year in the Criminal Division at the Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney’s Office. Mrs. Bangs now primarily focuses on homicide prosecution and supervises and trains several lawyers. Mrs. Bangs is married and the mother of four children.

The Angels of Charity women’s auxiliary improves the lives of others in their community through volunteerism and support, serving the mission and clients of Catholic Charities Dallas. Membership is free and open to all women interested.
