Abigail “Abbie” Kauffman brings more than a decade of diverse experience in nonprofit and higher education to Catholic Charities Dallas. She began her full-time career as a Development Officer in the University of Texas System in Odessa, Texas, and found in her passion in social services as Development Director for Centers for Children and Families in Midland/Odessa. Abbie returned home to Dallas in 2015, where she joined the staff of Jewish Family Service of Greater Dallas as Director of Communications, and later Director of Development. Most recently, Abbie served as CitySquare’s Senior Director of Strategy where she worked across the organization focusing on program sustainability, metrics alignment, and collaborative partnerships.
Abbie holds both a Master and Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Oklahoma where she held positions in the Center for Applied Social Research, Department of Communication, and Graduate College. In her volunteer time, she serves as Brand Management Chair for the Junior League of Dallas and is involved with her neighborhood moms club. She loves sparkling water, fly fishing, a good book, and spending time with her family.
