Angela Fox serves as the Director of Children’s Services overseeing CCD’s residential programming for unaccompanied immigrant and refugee youth. Angela has served twenty years with a Catholic Charities agency (Minneapolis/St. Paul, Fort Worth, and Dallas) in roles working with refugees and immigrants. With a heart for service and social justice, Angela is deeply committed to the Catholic social teaching principles of welcoming the stranger and caring for the most vulnerable among us.

Angela earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Saint Mary’s College, Notre Dame, Indiana and a Master of Arts in Marriage & Family Therapy from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. She holds a Child-Care Administrator License and a Child-Placing Agency Administrator License through the state of Texas. Additionally, she is a Certified Praesidium Guardian and serves as a contract accreditation reviewer. She has co-presented and served on panels discussing child abuse prevention best practices as well as working with unaccompanied children.

Angela enjoys reading, taking care of her feline babies Sadie & Gigi, spending time with her family, especially her niece and nephews, and traveling back to the Midwest whenever she gets the chance.
