Sara-Blake Jernigan proudly serves as Director of Donor Engagement at CCD where she finds deep personal and professional fulfillment in connecting generous individuals with the mission of serving our most vulnerable neighbors. Since joining the organization in 2022, she has been continually inspired by the dedicated, mission-driven team here and their shared commitment to compassion, dignity, and community.
With over fifteen years of experience, her career includes leadership roles in nonprofit and educational settings, with experience in campaign management, major gifts, annual giving, alumni relations, grant writing, and strategic development consulting. She holds degrees from Southern Methodist University and credits Catholic education during her formative years for shaping a lifelong commitment to service.
Sara Blake lives in Richardson with her husband Adam and their two young daughters, who joyfully occupy most of her free time. When time allows, she enjoys reading, cooking, tennis, live music/comedy/theater, swimming, and learning new things—especially those that bring joy to her family and community.
