First Annual Ryder Cup Archangel Golf Tournament – May 2022
Looking Back
In Review: Archangels Activity
We have finished a great year! Along the way, we did some good:
October 2021: We met for our 10th Annual Breakfast with the Bishop and provided support for the many food needs in the Diocese of Dallas.
December 2021: Once again, the Angels of Charity Women’s Auxiliary lead the way in funding and providing gifts to over 800 families to make their Christmas a little better. For our part, the Archangels assisted the Angels in making sure Christmas was possible for more people by providing bartending services for the fundraiser and parking lot duty for the distribution. Well done, Angels of Charity, you all are awesome and a true example of Christian service to us all.
January 2022: The Archangels by-laws were revised at the end of 2021 to establish five standing committees with designated chairs focused on enabling the mission of the Archangels Men’s Network. Keep reading for more information about the following:
- Membership

- Communication
February 2022: We supported all the missions of Catholic Charities Dallas by supporting the 24th Annual Bishop’s Gala.
April 2022: We assisted in making sure teenagers in need had their means of transportation protected by building a secure shelter for their bicycles.
May 2022: Our first annual Ryder Cup Archangel Golf Tournament was a success! Using a Ryder Cup format, over 72 golfers and 40 volunteers took to the links to help raise money for the CCD food program. We helped alleviate hunger in North Texas by providing 250,000 meals throughout North Texas. Next year, we hope to feed many more with your continued help.
Congratulations to the Ryder Cup Team Clifford (Tom Clifford, Captain)! They proved to be the better team that day. Well done! You have the distinction of being the first of many championship teams.
