Welcome to the latest edition of The Heavenly Express, the official newsletter for the Archangels Men’s Network of Catholic Charities Dallas. Here you will find the latest highlights, what’s to come, and general auxiliary group reminders.

The goal of the Archangels Men’s Network is to be the extra hands, voice, and leadership as needed to promote and provide support to Catholic Charities Dallas in its service to those in need in the Diocese of Dallas.

So far this year, the Archangels have helped provide more than 255,000 meals to our neighbors across North Texas’ nine-county area.

According to the North Texas Food Bank, every $1 donated provides three meals. That means your generosity is transforming lives in very tangible ways. Together, we are serving until it’s solved, and we are just getting started.

Breakfast with the Bishop – October 2025

Looking Back

Breakfast with the Bishop 2025

On October 30, 2025, we gathered at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Richardson for our 14th Annual Breakfast with the Bishop. We were thrilled to welcome more than 400 attendees (which is our largest turnout yet!) and raised over $85,000 to support CCD’s Hunger Services mission.

We were honored to hear from Jim Keyes, former CEO of 7-Eleven, who challenged each of us to embrace a life of service. His message was clear: we belong to one community, and we are called to care for one another.

We look forward to gathering again next year and building on this momentum.

Christmas Distribution – December 2025

Serving with Spirit

Earlier this year, Archangels completed a service project at CCD’s Santa Clara Campus in Oak Cliff, installing fencing and weather protection for the office facilities. It was a great project and a powerful reminder that small acts of service strengthen the foundation of our mission.

Our volunteer spirit remained strong all year long, thanks in part to our sister network, the Angels of Charity. During the Christmas season, Archangels provided logistical support for Hope for the Holidays, assisting with parking and guest direction. Archangels and their families also joined volunteers from across the community to pack and distribute Christmas gifts to families served by CCD.

28th Annual Bishop’s Gala – January 2026

28th Annual Bishop’s Gala

On January 17, 2026, more than 900 guests gathered for the 2026 Bishop’s Gala in celebration of CCD’s life-changing work. The evening featured an unforgettable performance by Kool & the Gang and raised critical funds that are already making a difference across North Texas.

Thank you to all who volunteered, supported, and generously contributed. Your commitment ensures that CCD’s programs continue to serve thousands of individuals and families each year.

4th Annual Archangels Cup – May 2025

Mark your calendars for the 5th Annual Archangel Cup, hosted by the Archangel Men’s Network!

The tournament will take place on Monday, May 11, 2026, at the The Golf Club of Dallas.

The event is open to all who wish to participate, regardless of membership. Sponsorships, donations, and your presence are all welcome. Every dollar makes an impact; just $1 can provide three meals to a family in need.
