Tyler Hufstetler, a native of Collin County, graduated from Allen High School before attending the United States Military Academy at West Point. After graduation, he was commissioned as an officer in the Field Artillery, serving in various capacities, from a small unit advisor in Afghanistan to contributing to strategy for the Field Artillery branch. Following his military service, Tyler pursued a Master’s Degree in Business at the University of Southern California while working in the oil and gas industry.

Tyler married his wife Erin in 2011. They have 4 children; Ella, Ben, Luke and Grace. In 2018, Tyler and Erin relocated their family back to Allen.

Currently, Tyler is employed at a technology company, focusing on building revenue through channel partnerships. He has also acquired and developed several local businesses. Active in the Collin County community, Tyler serves on the board of his children’s private school, Coram Deo Academy, a classical school dedicated to teaching through a biblical worldview. Additionally, he is involved in various civic organizations.

Tyler and Erin are parents to four children, aged five to eleven, all of whom attend Coram Deo.
