Cammie O’Hara serves as Director of Stewardship, where she is passionate about cultivating meaningful relationships with volunteers, donors, and community partners in support of CCD’s mission to serve, educate, and empower those in need. With a background spanning nonprofit leadership, education, program development, and volunteer and community engagement, Cammie brings a mission-driven, people-centered approach that emphasizes connection, collaboration, and shared purpose.
Beyond her professional role, Cammie is the founder and director of The Dance Pointe Adaptive Dance Company, an inclusive performing arts organization serving individuals with disabilities. This work reflects her deep commitment to fostering environments rooted in dignity, belonging, and opportunity for all. In recognition of her advocacy and impact, she was honored in 2024 as a Champion of Inclusion by the Houston Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities.
Cammie holds a Master of Science degree along with certifications in nonprofit leadership, adaptive dance instruction, job skills training, and safety and compliance practices. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, engaging in her community, exploring the creative arts, and spending quality time with family and friends.
