Adriana C. Baird earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of San Buenaventura in Medellín, Colombia, and her Master of Science in Counseling from Southern Methodist University. She is a Texas Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 15 years of experience leading educational, family engagement, and community-based programs throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area.
As the Director of Education and Senior Services, Adriana is committed to expanding high-quality programs that strengthen families, support lifelong learning, and promote community wellness. Her work is grounded in culturally responsive and trauma-informed practices, with a strong focus on serving underserved and diverse populations through education, outreach, and meaningful community partnerships.
Prior to her current leadership role, Adriana served for more than a decade with the Center for Children and Families at The University of Texas at Dallas, where she managed multi-site early childhood and parent engagement programs, supervised staff and student teams, and led initiatives focused on school readiness and optimal child development.
In addition to her professional work, Adriana serves as Spanish Ministry Director for Dawn of Mercy, where she leads healing groups and outreach efforts supporting survivors of sexual abuse. She is passionate about empowering individuals and families through education, compassion, and connection. In her spare time, Adriana enjoys serving her community, assisting seniors with mobility challenges, and spending time with family and friends.
