Angela Fox serves as the Director of International Foster Care & Refugee Services, overseeing CCD’s residential programming for unaccompanied immigrant and refugee youth along with support services for refugees and newcomers to our community. Angela has served twenty years with Catholic Charities agencies (Minneapolis/St. Paul, Fort Worth, and Dallas) in roles working with refugees and immigrants. With a heart for service and social justice, Angela is deeply committed to the Catholic social teaching principles of welcoming the stranger and caring for the most vulnerable among us.
Angela earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Saint Mary’s College, Notre Dame, Indiana and a Master of Arts in Marriage & Family Therapy from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. She holds a Child-Care Administrator License and a Child-Placing Agency Administrator License through the state of Texas. Additionally, she is a Certified Praesidium Guardian and serves as a contract accreditation reviewer. She has co-presented and served on panels discussing child abuse prevention best practices as well as work with unaccompanied children.
Angela enjoys reading, listening to podcasts, spending time with her large family, and traveling back to the Midwest whenever she gets the chance.
