Originally from Harlingen, TX, Gloria Rentería attended the University of Texas at Dallas and joined the ILS team in 2010. She has worked in immigration law since then, including direct client representation as a DOJ Accredited Representative, crime victim advocacy, and program management. She has represented clients in immigration matters ranging from U-Visas and family petitions to naturalization. In her previous position as Victim Program Manager, she focused on program sustainability and collaborative partnerships benefiting survivors in North Texas. Gloria now serves as the Director of Immigration Legal Services.

A first-generation American, she is involved in several community organizations that assist survivors of crime, provides trainings on immigration and crime victim relief to service providers, and is an advocate for immigrant & victim rights. When Gloria isn’t working, you can find her at the ballpark. She enjoys being a baseball mom, so she has no spare time.
