Joe was ordained a Deacon in 2019 and serves at Prince ofPeace Parish in Plano, which he describes as “remarkablyjoyful.” He is the founding partner of Kane Russell Coleman andLogan PC, a commercial law firm with offices in Dallas,Houston, and Austin. Joe is a seasoned restructuring attorney,having led over 50 distressed M&A transactions, representedboth public and private debtors in bankruptcy, and servedmore than 50 unsecured creditor committees across 19 states.
An active supporter of Catholic initiatives throughout thediocese, Joe has served on boards for Ursuline, Jesuit, SMUCatholic Campus Ministry, the Catholic Foundation, and theSynod. At Prince of Peace, he has been parish council presidentand recently co-chaired a capital campaign that funded a fullrenovation of the church and school.
Joe and his wife Carmen have been married for 38 years andhave three adult children and a grandson. He is a graduate of aBenedictine high school in Chicago and Creighton University inOmaha, Nebraska.
