Joe was ordained a Deacon in 2019 and serves at Prince of Peace Parish in Plano, which he describes as “remarkably joyful.” He is the founding partner of Kane Russell Coleman and Logan PC, a commercial law firm with offices in Dallas, Houston, and Austin. Joe is a seasoned restructuring attorney, having led over 50 distressed M&A transactions, represented both public and private debtors in bankruptcy, and served more than 50 unsecured creditor committees across 19 states.
An active supporter of Catholic initiatives throughout the diocese, Joe has served on boards for Ursuline, Jesuit, SMU Catholic Campus Ministry, the Catholic Foundation, and the Synod. At Prince of Peace, he has been parish council president and recently co-chaired a capital campaign that funded a full renovation of the church and school.
Joe and his wife Carmen have been married for 38 years and have three adult children and a grandson. He is a graduate of a Benedictine high school in Chicago and Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska.
