CCD Parish Update - December 2023

This is my last parish monthly update as the Director of Parish and Community Relations at Catholic Charities Dallas. I’ve had a wonderful six and a half years here at Catholic Charities. I will now be moving to a full-time role with the Diocese of Dallas as the Executive Director of the Synod.

I am so grateful for the chance to have worked with each of you to further the work of Christ in serving His Church through the work of Catholic Charities. I am excited also to continue to work with each of you in the work of the Synod serving the Diocese of Dallas.

Today, please help me welcome for her CCD video debut, Devyn Buschow, the Parish Relations Program Manager at Catholic Charities Dallas. Devyn has been with Catholic Charities since 2021 serving in this role, and she will continue to be a resource for you here at CCD. She will be the face you see in these videos from now on!

Hi, I’m Devyn Buschow, the Parish Relations Program Manager at Catholic Charities Dallas. I hopefully know many of you already through my work at CCD as well as my work with the Dallas Catholic Youth Conference.

I look forward to sharing highlights of our missions each month and making sure our newest resources make it to you to share with your parishioners.

As for updates this month, we have a new parish resource card that you can share with those in need. We are also excited to have a Christmas Family Giveaway for families with children ages three and under on December 16.
