“Time for Giving” is the name of CCD’s annual campaign, a vital initiative throughout the month of May that enables us to meet the essential needs of our neighbors.
Our theme, Time for Giving, is inspired by scripture. In the Book of Ecclesiastes, it says that, “There is an appointed time for everything, and a time for every affair under the heavens.”
The campaign is an opportunity for all of us to live out our faith and make a real difference in the lives of those in need in our community.
Some may say our goals are ambitious.
We want no one to go hungry – not even for a day.
We want to teach generations of families to be literate.
We want to end the suffering of the homeless.
We want every heart to be filled with hope.
We want every neighbor to live with dignity.
With every donation we receive, these goals become more realistic.
We’re here to serve our community’s most vulnerable – without judgment or conditions.
With our resources, conviction, and drive to help all in need, we will work until our toughest challenges are solved.
Last year, our team served close to 200,000 individuals and families.
At Catholic Charities, the need is critical, and the mission is essential.
