2027 Honorary Chair

Cardinal Kevin Farrell

Catholic Charities Dallas is pleased to announce and recognize Cardinal Kevin Farrell as the Honorary Chair of the 29th Annual Bishop’s Gala. An Irish-born American Catholic prelate, Cardinal Farrell served as the Bishop of Dallas from 2007 to 2017. He has served as the prefect of the Dicastery for the Laity, Family and Life since 2016, Camerlengo of the Holy Roman Church since 2019, and president of the Supreme Court of Vatican City since 2024. He acted as the regent of Vatican City after the passing of Pope Francis until Pope Leo XIV was elected. We are honored by Cardinal Kevin Farrell’s unwavering support of our mission and work.

Gary LeVox, along with bandmates Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney, founded Rascal Flatts in 2000, and they went on to enjoy one of the most successful careers in modern country music.
