Homelessness & Housing

Our first residents are getting ready to move into St. Jude Vantage Point, but we need assistance stocking their rooms! Help us welcome our residents by providing supplies for their apartments. We need the following items to fully stock a room:

• Shower curtain
• Curtain rings
• Bath towel
• Wash cloth
• Hand towel
• Toilet paper
• Shampoo
• Conditioner
• Bar soap
• Toothbrush/toothpaste
• Shaving cream
• Safety razors
• Box of tissues
• Cotton swabs
• Deodorant
• Toilet bowl brush
• Plunger
• Small trash can

• Mop
• Broom
• Dust pan
• 10-13 gallon trash can
• Trash bags
• Bottle of liquid cleaner
• Spray bottle of cleaner
• Laundry detergent
• Bleach

Please do not donate disinfectant wipes

• Bed-in-a-bag (comforter, set of sheets, and pillow cases) 
• Pillows (2) 
• Mattress protector

• Skillet (induction) 
• Pot (induction)
• Cooking utensils (spatula, ladle, whisk) 
• Pot holder
• Dish towels 
• Can opener
• Cutting board
• Dish soap
• Sponge

• Salt and pepper set
• Ice cube tray
• Plate
• Bowl
• Water glass
• Coffee cup
• Single set of silverware (knife, fork, spoon)

At this time, we are looking for groups our individuals to fully stock individual rooms. If you are interested in sponsoring a room, please contact volunteer@ccdallas.org. We can only accept new items.

At this time, the Homelessness & Housing mission has a need for the following items:

• Travel size hygiene items (shampoo, deodorant, toilet paper, toothpaste and toothbrush, shaving razors)
• Socks
• Non-perishable snacks
• Bottled water
• Kitchen towels
• Plastic bowls, plates, drinking cups
• Silverware
• Kitchen utensils (can opener, spatula, whisk, etc.)
• Pots and pans
• Toilet paper
• Bath towels
• Shower curtains, liners, rings
• Bed sheets
• Pillows
• Robes
• Slippers
• Laundry detergent
• Gift cards for area restaurants and businesses (QT, Dickies BBQ, CVS, Walmart, Dollar Tree, Sprouts, Home Depot, and IHOP)

In addition to the items above, we have created an Amazon wish list. To shop for a specific program, search the list by mission name. Please use the “Add to Cart” button on the right side when selecting items. This ensures you are purchasing from the wish list so items are sent directly to our location. At check-out, select “Catholic Charities Dallas Gift Registry” as the shipping address. Unfortunately, we will not receive your contact information through the registry and cannot send you a thank you letter.
