Sarah Masih has worked in the space of homelessness, poverty, and behavioral health services throughout North Texas for over a decade. She received her Bachelors and master’s in social work from the University of Texas in 2010 and 2011, respectively, and obtained her clinical licensure shortly thereafter. She began her career in homeless services and eventually transitioned to the behavioral health arena with the goal of obtaining clinical licensure. During this time, she worked alongside hospital leadership to develop protocols to assist those facing behavioral health crises and identify the best ways to serve vulnerable populations seeking emergency services. Through this process, she developed a passion for helping underserved communities and solving complex issues.
Sarah served as The Director of Adult and Family Services with the Salvation Army for 6 years before transitioning to Catholic Charities. In her current role at CCD, Sarah serves as The Director of Homelessness, Health, and Special Initiatives. Through this work, she works alongside her team and community partners to administer scattered site housing and single site housing programs for individuals recovering from homelessness and a community health clinic in Mckinney, TX. Sarah has a passion for her profession as a Social Worker and has worked alongside her team to bring both clinical supervision and MSW internship programs to CCD Homelessness and Housing programs.
