William W. (Bill) Dandridge retired from Accenture in September 2006. He is a senior executive with over 30 years’ experience with specific expertise in business development, strategic information and business planning, consulting, financial management and contract negotiations. Since retirement, Bill has focused on the not-for-profit arena and has served on the Board of Directors of such entities.

He served as Interim President and CEO of Christian Community Action (CCA) and is the immediate past Chairman of the Board for that entity. During his career, Mr. Dandridge served in many executive management capacities. At the time of his retirement, he was Global Managing Partner/Executive Director Business Development in Accenture’s Technology Outsourcing practice. During his career, Accenture grew from a 5,000-person consultancy to a global operation of 175,000 men and women. In his last role Bill helped create a new service line, then rapidly generated over $6 Billion in sales. That new practice went from start-up to over 7,500 personnel in less than 4 years.

He has provided professional services on 5 continents, and his clients included the State of Texas, DuPont, AT&T, BellSouth, USWest Telecommunications, Best Buy, Caterpillar, Methodist Hospitals of Dallas, Baptist Medical Center of Oklahoma, Sun Oil Company and Starbuck’s. On three separate occasions he was a key leader on winning sales efforts for what were at that time the largest contracts ever won by Accenture. Mr. Dandridge is an experienced contract negotiator and served as the executive advisor to Accenture’s Negotiating Academy. He was also chosen to be a Select Quality Assurance Partner, those performing reviews of Accenture’s largest and most complex engagements. Mr. Dandridge was consistently recognized by his peers for his leadership abilities. In each of the three years after Accenture instituted its Leadership Survey Program, Bill had the highest leadership score of any executive in the outsourcing practices.

Since his retirement from Accenture, Mr. Dandridge has assisted that Firm by helping define its training curriculum and leading professional training sessions. Bill has lectured on current trends in information technology in the honors and graduate programs at The University of Texas at Austin, The University of Texas at Dallas, SMU and Ave Maria University. Additionally, he periodically addresses leadership development programs at the high school level. Bill and his wife, Ann, live in Dallas, TX.
