We’re grateful to the Fort Worth Report for shining a light on Mater Maria, Catholic Charities Dallas’ maternity home program in Plano. In a recent feature, reporter Mica Magday explored how Mater Maria provides safe housing, guidance, and essential resources to mothers experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity, helping them build a stable foundation for themselves and their children. Through a family centered approach that goes beyond housing, mothers receive support with parenting, education, career development, and the transition to independent living.
