Bringing the NeighborHUB Vision to North Texas
We’re grateful to FOX 4 News for covering today’s groundbreaking of NeighborHUB, Catholic Charities Dallas’ new collaborative social services center coming to McKinney.
The segment captured what makes NeighborHUB different: a single, welcoming location where families can find health care, food assistance, legal aid, and education, all in one place, close to where they live.
As Catholic Charities Dallas’ CEO Dave Woodyard put it: “[The NeighborHUB is a place] where we can create a center of advocacy – where people can tell their story one time and be heard, and know that they’re going to get multiple services and connected to anything they might need within the community… so that they can improve their journey and lift their life.”
That’s the heart of the NeighborHUB model: bringing essential services together under one roof so families don’t have to travel across North Texas to find the support they need, especially in one of the country’s fastest-growing regions.
