John D. Thomas was a County Commissioner for Collin County, Texas. He served as Vice President for Global Shared Services for one of the world’s largest engineering and construction companies, Parsons Corporation. He has also served as the Chief Information Officer and member of the Executive Committee at Parsons. Prior to this, Mr. Thomas served as the Vice President for Global Infrastructure Services and member of the Executive Committee for Perot Systems, managing 3,000 associates world-wide. Prior to joining Perot Systems, Mr. Thomas was the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer for a hospital of American Medical International. Before that, he was a Captain in the U.S. Army and an Airborne Ranger.
He currently serves on the Board for the Community Health Clinic in Collin County as well as the Board for Catholic Charities of Dallas. He is the author of three books.
Mr. Thomas received his Bachelor of Science from West Point and Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
