Looking Back

Spring Archangels Happy Hour

The Archangels Happy Hour held on Thursday, March 16, was great fun. ODD Muse Brewing Co. serves as our preferred venue for these fun gatherings that occur throughout the year. It’s an incredible chance to connect with fellow members and stay up to date on all the latest Archangels updates.

Please join us for the next Archangels Happy Hour, which will take place in the fall. Stay tuned for additional details!

Second Annual Ryder Cup Archangels Golf Tournament – May 2023

Golf for Meals

Our second Annual Archangels Cup golf tournament was a great success! Although the tournament ended in a tie between the two competing teams, Catholic Charities Dallas and their many clients were the true winners of the day.

Together, we raised $25,419 that will provide 132,433 meals for families in need across North Texas. Thank you to all who participated in the tournament and pledged their support! Your generosity is truly life-changing.

Thank you also to team captains, Rick Donnelli, Tom Clifford, Steve Koch, and Phillip Askew, and to the Archangels Cup planning committee for all they did to make the day possible.

Please save the date for next year’s tournament, which will take place on Monday, May 6, 2024!

Rick Donnelli – Archangels President 2021-23

Changing of the Guard

Rick Donnelli, our current president, will be stepping down as his term expires this month. We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to him for all his hard work in advancing the mission of Catholic Charities Dallas.

Congratulations to our new president, Mark Koch, who will assume the role of president! Mark has served as vice president of the Archangels for the past two years and has been an enthusiastic example of service and involvement during that time. We congratulate Mark on his well-deserved appointment and look forward to seeing what he has in store for the Archangels.

Breakfast with the Bishop – September 2022

Looking Ahead

11th Annual Breakfast with the Bishop

Thursday, October 5, 2023

Save the date! Our 11th Annual Breakfast with the Bishop will take place on Thursday, October 5, 2023, at St. Paul the Apostle in Richardson. This event is always a great opportunity for networking, charitable giving, and enlightenment.

Last September, Chief Eddie Garcia, a true leader and witness, delivered an inspiring speech preceded by a prayer and remarks by Bishop Edward Burns. We are grateful to them both for their words of wisdom and their presence at our event.

We are honored to announce that John Stankey, CEO of AT&T, will be our featured guest speaker at this year’s breakfast. With 37 years of professional experience, John offers a wealth of valuable insights and knowledge that we look forward to learning from.
