Hi! My name is Kelly Noonan, and I am the Chief Development Officer at Catholic Charities Dallas.
“Hope Happens Here” is the name of Catholic Charities Dallas’ annual campaign, centered around the second collection for Catholic Charities at all Masses the weekend of May 6th and 7th.
At Catholic Charities, we witness the life-changing power of hope every day. There is nothing like the contagious excitement of a young refugee family as they receive items that transform their new house into a home, the smile on the face of a child as they learn to read alongside their parents, the relief in the eyes of a person who no longer needs to worry about what they will eat that day, the hearty laugh of a senior who shows up at the Brady Center for art classes and chair fitness, or the peace of a formerly unhoused resident who walks into their newly furnished home at one of our St. Jude properties for the first time. Although it looks a bit different each time, the look of hope is undeniably present in every one of these lives.
At Catholic Charities, the need is critical, and the mission is essential. We are educating, housing, feeding, assisting, counseling, adopting, assimilating, fostering, stabilizing, resettling, and advising…every day. And yet, there is still so much to do. We are committed to serving our clients and providing hope to thousands and thousands of individuals and families in the 9 counties we serve, but we can’t do it alone. I encourage you to join us in serving, educating, empowering, and most importantly, providing hope to all those in need, by helping us reach our Hope Happens Here campaign goal of $246,000.
It is through Christ’s call and our inspiring stories of hope that I invite you to give to the mission of Catholic Charities at our second collection the weekend of May 6 and 7. If you are unable to attend Mass that weekend, please consider setting up a one-time or monthly gift to sustain the programs that benefit so many in need by clicking the button below.
Your generosity makes a difference, provides hope, and directly causes immediate, long-term, and vital change in the lives of children, families, and seniors. On behalf of all those we will serve with your gifts and generosity, thank you, and God Bless.
