Catholic Charities Dallas is partnering with Reliant Energy to offer crucial support to individuals and families grappling with energy bill payments. Through the Reliant CARE program (Community Assistance by Reliant Energy), we extend a compassionate hand to those facing financial hardships.
Under this initiative, Reliant has earmarked funds to provide energy assistance payments to eligible Reliant customers. Here’s what you need to know:
Eligibility Criteria:
- Recipients must maintain an active Reliant account.
- Assistance targets Reliant customers experiencing financial distress.
- The maximum annual assistance limit per client is $500.
Please note: CCD assistance cannot exceed the amount specified on your bill, and the maximum annual assistance limit is $500.
Application Requirements:
- Applicants are required to submit a recent utility bill reflecting their name and address.
- A valid photo ID must accompany the utility bill for verification purposes.
