Education Services

Building A Better Future

Education Services provides English language and other skills training to help clients become economically self-sufficient.  Education programs include:

  • ESL training for refugees
  • Citizenship classes for refugees 60 years of age +

The goal of ESL classes is to help clients become proficient in the English language, so they can acquire gainful employment and attain economic independence. The better English an individual has, the higher the salary range.

Older Refugees

The Older Refugees program provides Citizenship classes for refugees 60 years of age and older. Participants in the program receive instruction that covers all required knowledge to pass the USCIS citizenship tests. In addition, the Education Services team works with our Immigration and Legal Services team to help our older refugees fill out and submit applications for citizenship.
