First Annual Ryder Cup Archangel Golf Tournament – May 2022

1st Annual Archangel Ryder Cup

Last May, we held the first Annual Archangel Golf Cup Competition at the Golf Club of Dallas. Four teams of a combined 72 golfers competed in a Ryder Cup format tournament to support the Hunger Program at Catholic Charities. The generous contributions from our many donors helped provide over 250,000 meals throughout CCD’s nine-county service area.

Come join the 2nd annual competition on May 16th, 2023! This is a great opportunity to enjoy fellowship and help eliminate hunger in North Texas.

Breakfast with the Bishop – September 2022

Looking Back

Breakfast with the Bishop 2022

What a year! Thank you to the Archangels, Angels of Charity, and CCD for their involvement and support throughout 2022.

Last September, we hosted our annual Breakfast with the Bishop at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. Chief Garcia, a true leader and witness, delivered an inspiring speech preceded by a prayer and remarks by Bishop Edward Burns. We are grateful to them both for their words of wisdom and their presence at our event.

Keep an eye out for this year’s Breakfast with the Bishop save-the-date! This event is always a great time for networking, charitable giving, and enlightenment.

Archangel Service Project – November 2022

Service Project: St. Jude Workroom

In November, the Archangels had an incredible opportunity to serve the formerly-homeless residents of St. Jude Center – Park Central by setting up their new workout room.

This workout space will encourage the residents to stay active and make it possible for them to prioritize physical wellness – an important step on their road to building a new life for themselves.

As Archangels, we welcome the opportunity to build up our community by serving those in need.

Hope for the Holidays and Christmas Distribution 2022

Hope for the Holidays & Christmas Distribution

The Angels of Charity truly show their generous spirit at Christmastime. Their annual Hope for the Holidays event raises funds for CCD’s Christmas Distribution, which provides Christmas gifts to families in need.

The Archangels are proud to assist the Angels of Charity in this effort every year by tending bar at Hope for the Holidays and directing the flow of traffic at the Christmas Distribution.

We are always glad to support the Angels of Charity in this great project, which touches so many lives every year.
